Job summary

Coca-Cola UNITED is hiring a Material Handler-Loader in the Alexandria, LA area. The role focuses on filling customer orders, moving goods with pallet equipment, and ensuring accuracy in picking and staging.

You will perform safety checks, count and label materials, and contribute to efficient distribution within the plant. Applicants should be at least 18, capable of reading and speaking English, and prepared for a schedule that includes weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• willingness to work weekends/holidays as required.
• Prior forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders from tickets according to set quotas.
• Move items using pallet jack or riding pallet jack.
• Identify product by description and quantity and transport to staging area.
• Check pickup accuracy and record materials moved.
• Inspect powered equipment daily and complete forms.
• Read orders to determine items to move and distribute.
• Sort and palletize materials by size, type or code.
• Mark materials with identifying information and count items.
