Job summary

SRC Logistics in Strafford, MO is seeking a Material Handler/Line Loader. The role operates Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM with starting pay at $16.75 per hour, responsible for organizing and prioritizing core material and coordinating disposal or reuse of packaging during loading/unloading.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, reading orders, moving materials with forklifts, loading/unloading, and following labeling instructions while maintaining compliance with hazmat and PPE rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Competent oral and written communication skills
• Competent addition and subtraction math skills
• Competent literacy skills in order to read tags without transposing part numbers
• Powered Industrial Truck Certified Preferred

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas using a forklift and/or pallet jack in the warehouse
• Loads materials on and off inspection lines while periodically using a hoist
• Determine placement of material based on labels or other markings
• Other duties as assigned
