Job description

As a Material Handler Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing the materials handling process efficiently and effectively to support production schedules. You will optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Your strategic oversight will streamline the supply chain, minimize costs, and maximize resource utilization. You will report directly to our Materials Manager and work out of our Muskegon, MI location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in meeting production deadlines, enhancing business resilience, and ensuring customer satisfaction by proactively managing materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive materials management strategies
• Lead procurement activities, including vendor selection and negotiation
• Oversee inventory levels and implement control measures
• Manage logistics and distribution processes
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal departments
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
