A leading company seeks a Material Handler Lead responsible for overseeing material flow and leading a team in a warehouse and production environment. The Material Handler Lead is responsible for overseeing material flow and ensuring operational efficiency within the production and warehouse environments. This role leads a team of material handlers and supports manufacturing and logistics processes by maintaining inventory accuracy, equipment operation, and timely movement of materials. The Lead will also collect labor and burden data on work orders and ensure safe forklift operations.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems preferred).
Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
The base pay range for this role is $17.00/hr to $19.00/hr. The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
