Job summary

Elevated HR Consulting, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Kit Builder to join our team. This role starts with receiving responsibilities and will expand to kitting and shipping over time, emphasizing quality and efficiency in every stage of the materials handling process.

The successful candidate will learn quickly, adapt to cross-functional tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience in kitting, inventory, shipping, or receiving preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving functions including verifying incoming materials, inspecting for accuracy and damage, and entering data into ERP system.
  • Perform ERP functions related to kitting, inventory storage, and material movement (picking tickets, bin transfers, labeling).
  • Identify and pull parts from stock for kit population.
  • Populate kit cases with appropriate parts and quantities, performing visual inspections for damage or discrepancies.
  • Package and label components and kits according to customer and internal specs.
  • Route, count, and label parts for stock replenishment.
  • Support outbound shipping functions as cross-training progresses; prepare materials for shipment and verify shipment accuracy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and supporting team flexibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist with receiving functions including verifying incoming materials, inspecting for accuracy and damage, and entering data into ERP system.
  • Perform essential ERP functions related to kitting, inventory storage, and material movement (e.g., picking tickets, bin transfers, and labeling).
  • Identify and pull parts from stock for kit population.
  • Populate kit cases with appropriate parts and quantities, performing visual inspections for damage or discrepancies.
  • Properly package and label components and kits in accordance with customer and internal specifications.
  • Route, count, and label parts for stock replenishment.
  • Support outbound shipping functions as cross-training progresses, including preparing materials for shipment and verifying shipment accuracy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and supporting team flexibility.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to use computers and systems, including Outlook and ERP software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly and packaging instructions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfort working with high-volume small part counts and identifying small markings.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and integrity while working in a fast-paced team environment.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least two (2) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience in kitting, inventory, shipping, or receiving preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at workstations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
