Job summary

IES is seeking a Material Handler for its Warehouse in Tulsa, OK. The role involves safe handling, storage, and movement of materials, loading/unloading with forklifts, and ensuring production lines receive materials on time.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, follow safety protocols, assist in packaging and shipping, and keep work areas clean. A high school diploma and experience in warehousing are preferred; certification for forklift operation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred, onsite training available).
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse management procedures.
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and material specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and products to designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Ensure materials are delivered to production lines in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts as needed.
• Organize and maintain storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and operating equipment.
• Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery.
• Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Keep work areas clean and free from safety hazards.
