Job summary

KALAS MFG INC is hiring for a Material Handler at the Denver plant. This full-time role operates on the second shift (3pm-11pm) and involves forklift handling, materials moves, and inventory tasks.

The position pays $21.30 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with standard safety and housekeeping expectations. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, counting, and preparing materials for shipment while ensuring uptime and adherence to environmental policies.

Qualifications

• 6 months sit-down forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain forklift certification.
• Assures all machines are supplied with copper and ensuring no production downtime.
• Transports in-process material.
• Loads and unloads interplant truck and receives materials from common carriers.
• Restores all received materials to stock areas, receives and ships material for UPS, and occasionally prepares other material for shipment.
• Maintains stock in an orderly fashion.
• Removes and replaces scrap boxes.
• Completes paperwork.
• Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook.
• Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules.
• Does cycle counting and makes adjustments to the MRP system.

• Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules.
• Does cycle counting and makes adjustments to the MRP system.
