Our polymer manufacturing plant in Birdsboro, PA is looking for a Material Handler/Machine Operator to support production operations. Major Highlights Regarding Employment as a Material Handler

• Wage: $28.82/hr to start plus $.75 for 2nd shift and $1 for 3rd shift.
• Shift: 8 hours each, rotating weekly between 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts.
• Schedule: 5-7 days in a row with days off in-between rotations.
• Overtime: 4-8 hours weekly, paid for hours over 8 per day and over 40 per week.
• Environment: Union.

Primary Duties

• Operate packaging equipment and maintain efficiencies.
• Transfer raw and finished materials between warehouses.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Assist with emptying finished product from dryers.
• Follow all technical, quality, safety procedures.
• Operate processing equipment and powered industrial trucks.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing and heavy lifting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.
• Pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical testing.
• Manufacturing or chemical plant experience preferred; similar skills considered.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
