Work effectively with diverse, multi-functional teams to apply the supply chain planning process and lead team efforts to develop lean material flow plans for the facility, which may include implementing changes to factory floor layout and material delivery. Key Job Elements
• 1st Shift Position;
• Work with the PFEP team to ensure system flow and physical flow paths are in alignment
• Work with MEs for lineside storage sustainability
• Work with Logistics for WH storage sustainability
• Ensure sufficient signage is in place for all storage locations
• Utilize the CI process to develop flow path improvements
• Utilize the CI process to optimize kitting strategies and part presentation to the line
• Focus on reducing touches throughout the Supply Chain organization
• Develop and improve 5S standards for material storage areas
Education / Training
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum 2 years logistics/material handling or equivalent
• ERP/MRP system experience w/reporting & data entry
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word)
• Ability to comfortably present to team members and other area Leadership
• Strong interpersonal/communication/prioritization skills
• Must have previous forklift experience
Environment and Physical Requirements:
• Warehouse shop floor environment w/ ~75% shop floor time required.
• Climate controlled environment with minimal exposure to outdoor elements, concrete flooring;
• Must be able to team lift up to 55 lbs.;
• Must be able to push and pull up to 125 lbs.;
• Frequent bending and reaching is required.
