Hours: M-F (6am to 2:30pm, with possible extension to 3:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shipping and Receiving: Receive incoming materials and products, verify accuracy against packing lists or bills of lading. Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packing, labeling, and documentation for transportation.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and participate in physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  3. Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
  4. Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and quantity discrepancies, report issues, and assist in resolving quality concerns.
  5. Documentation: Complete paperwork and electronic documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  6. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment, complying with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a material handler, shipping/receiving clerk, or similar in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks; certification preferred.
  • Attention to detail for accurate paperwork and inventory management.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory software and MS Office.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse conditions.
