Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Material Handler in Milwaukie, OR to coordinate movement, tracking and documentation of work-in-progress inventory. You will move parts between departments, update the inventory system and ensure accurate records for production flow.

The role requires basic data entry, attention to detail and the ability to lift 30–75 lbs. on a daily basis, with training provided on the job including forklift safety certification.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing floor experience preferred.
• Data entry and inventory control experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to attend to detail and work independently.
• Ability to lift 30–75 pounds and occasionally more.
• Ability to work in conditions with noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

• Verify and match parts with paperwork and routing information before transporting.
• Enter accurate inventory, scheduling and location data into tracking system.
• Move parts using hand, pallet jack or forklift.
• Update inventory control system to reflect locations and movements.
• Complete logs and records and support quality documentation.
