South-Tek Systems in Wilmington, NC is seeking a full-time Material Handler/Inventory Specialist to manage receiving, inspection, and distribution of supplies in the manufacturing facility.

You will record inventory using WMS, perform cycle counts, pick orders, operate forklifts, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with all warehouse procedures and quality checks.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsabilités

• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage upon arrival, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
• Accurately record and update inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS), including location tracking and stock rotation.
• Retrieve and pick items from designated storage locations based on customer orders, carefully packing items for shipment.
• Operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Properly store materials in designated warehouse locations, maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Accurately input inventory data into computer systems, including receiving logs, stock transfers, and shipment details.
• Perform basic quality checks on received goods to ensure they meet specifications.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and regulations when handling materials and operating equipment.

South-Tek Systems is currently searching for a full-time Material Handler/Inventory Specialistto perform a variety of Inventory Control tasks such as receiving, inspecting, and distributing supplies and equipment within the manufacturing plant. Our team is composed of highly engineered individuals who provide innovative and cost-effective generator systems.

Qualifications:

• Meticulous accuracy in counting, recording, and verifying inventory numbers and quantities required
• Attention to detail and being organized required
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and data entry application required
• Minimum 2 years’ related work experience required
• Must be able to pass a drug screen including THC required
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record required
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Must be able to work in outside temperatures and conditions ranging from 20 degrees to 110 degrees
• Must be able to lift, carry, push weight up to 75 lbs and the ability to walk stairwells and climb ladders
