Job summary

Altor Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for our Wisconsin facility. You will be responsible for safely moving materials, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift experience, attention to detail, and strong organizational and communication skills. You will work 2nd shift (3:00 PM-11:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with duties spanning from warehouse to production support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–6 months of relevant experience.
• Must be able to read, write and understand basic math.
• 1+ years of forklift driving experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of Plex ERP system and inventory transactions.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated areas within the facility.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Organize and maintain inventory levels.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials as needed.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when handling materials.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Move materials to and from production cells to support continual production.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory quantities on all supplies.
• Ensure all supply inventory is in the correct locations.
• Assist on production lines as time permits.
• Maintain quality compliance of product according to customer specifications.
• Participate in efficiency improvements throughout the plant.
• All other duties as assigned.
