Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Material Handler for our Oklahoma facility. The role involves moving and staging materials, counting inventory, and safely operating forklifts to support production and shipping activities.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, maintaining cycle counts and documentation, and collaborating with leads and supervisors to align with production priorities. A 0–2 year track record and ERP proficiency are preferred to ensure accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Competence in executing ERP system proficiently for inventory and transaction management.
• Skilled in operating sit-down and double reach forklifts.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas using material handling equipment (MHE) such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, forklifts (sit-down and double reach).
• Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing shipments, stages materials for inspection and storage.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on bill of materials and staging to appropriate work cell area.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers and documents material movements.
• Receives and processes return materials from production.
• Ensures proper palletizing and racking of materials.
• Completes equipment inspections and maintains cleanliness of work areas.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Works independently and is accountable for resolving material handling errors in real time, with guidance from supervisors as needed.
• Keeps work areas, warehouse, storage areas, and all equipment clean, neat, and orderly.
• Collaborates with Leads, Planners, and Supervisors to support production priorities.
