Job summary

Tiffin in Alabama is seeking a Material Handler to order and confirm materials for production, maintain inventory, and support BOM accuracy. You will work with SAP, organize stock, and coordinate with engineering on design changes.

This role requires lifting 25-50 pounds, Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training provided; safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Lift and move 25–50 pounds as part of daily tasks.
• Proficient in Excel; basic computer skills.
• Read production prints and understand requirements.
• Proficient typing for data entry.
• Demonstrates careful attention to detail in all work.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reports and queries for production and/or vendors.
• Review emails relating to changes in master data that pertain to area.
• Review Obsolete Parts List and respond if stock exists in area.
• Review Material Adjustment Report and respond to questions as needed.
• Review Inventory Reports and investigate issues.
• Organize stock and assign bin identifiers in SAP.
• Confirm operations in each order as production completes.
• Communicate discrepancies in order data and create RES when needed.
• Update and resolve goods movement errors in COGI daily.
• Facilitate rework and parts shortages to be installed later with production.
