AAR Aircraft Services Greensboro in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Material Handler to manage picking, delivery and inventory of parts within a busy aircraft hangar environment. The role focuses on accurate stocking, timely material movement and adherence to ITAR requirements.

The successful candidate will operate forklifts, load and unload trucks, assign materials to hangar locations and work with standard English communication to coordinate with teammates and customers in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance required; candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years warehouse shipping, receiving or inventory picking experience preferred.
• Must possess computer skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with warehousing and supply chain management programs preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in standard English.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials per picking assignments generated by customer orders.
• Deliver materials to assigned customers via forklift and/or motorized cart.
• Assign materials to locations in hangars and associated aircraft.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
• Unload trucks and count receipts for accuracy; inventory materials.
• Report damage upon receipts.
• Other duties as assigned
