Job summary

Vicor in Andover, MA is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, and production material flow. Under supervision, you will transfer materials, aid in cycle counts, and prepare materials for PCB and SMT setups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills are required – experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively via Email
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs., using team lifting or mechanical assistance when required.

Responsibilities

• Transferring materials from receiving to stock.
• Materials put away
• Cycle counting
• Fulfilling EMR’s
• Determines inventory levels and issues stock to proper production areas as needed to maintain production.
• Prep PCB’s for production, and Prepare Materials for SMT/Universal Set Ups.
• Locating all items with a certain lot number, date code or container IDs.
• Isolating certain materials to MRB, preparing materials for RTV and reconciling inventory issues and discrepancies.
• Create or recommend and utilize various reports, queries and data to identify and resolve any material issues.
