Job Description

Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately performing manual and automated tasks related to receipt, storage, transportation, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and delivery of products that may be hazardous, temperature-sensitive, or high-value, while demonstrating behaviors aligned with AbbVie's attributes and values.

This role operates on a 2B shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM, working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all policies and procedures to maintain training, safety, GxP, and governmental standards.
  • Accurately process paperwork according to policies and procedures.
  • Adapt to changing work demands efficiently.
  • Cross-train in multiple operational areas while minimizing errors.
  • Receive and inspect inbound products/materials for infestation, overages, shortages, and damages.
  • Pick customer orders accurately for shipment, ensuring correctness of product type and quantity.
  • Transfer and locate materials/products in storage or shipping areas.
  • Verify order details including quantity, quality, labeling, and address to ensure shipment accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, with the ability to perform basic math and read/understand training documents, labels, and signage in English.
  • Pass medical screening and background checks as required by authorities.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-changing demands.
  • Self-motivated team player with good multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, general computer skills, and RF scanners; capable of problem-solving and effective communication.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more with assistance; capable of bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, standing, and walking for entire shifts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and hand tools safely and accurately.
  • Wear appropriate PPE to complete tasks.
  • Work within temperature ranges of 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F).
