Job summary

Siemens AG in Wendell, NC is seeking a Material Handler III to support efficient movement of materials, receiving, shipping and inventory control. This role operates forklifts and reach trucks in a safety-conscious environment with day shift hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm and a $22.46 hourly rate.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in material management, forklift experience, cranes, packing/crating, SAP familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong English skills and U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of material management experience.
• 5+ years forklift, order picker and stand up experience.
• 2+ years packing and crating experience.
• 3+ years cranes experience.
• Able to lift parts or sub-assemblies up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with SAP system.
• Basic English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles.
• Inspects moving equipment daily and follows safety rules.
• Unloads, receives, and records production materials in the SAP system and counts inventory.
• Picks, packs, and ships materials accurately using RF scanners and hand tools.
• Performs daily cycle counts and maintains inventory accuracy.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and meets deadlines.
• Follows established processes and supports improvements as directed.

We are looking for a Material Handler III to join our team. This position will be based at Wendell, NC.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management.

Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Hourly Rate: $22.46

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with material management (warehousing).
• 5+ years of experience driving a forklift, order picker and stand up.
• 2+ years of experience with packing and crating.
• 3+ years of experience with cranes
• Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with SAP system
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Technical training in area of responsibility

The pay range for this position is $22.46 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
