Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to operate equipment in our distribution center, including Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, Sit-Down Forklifts, and Electric Pallet Jacks.

Pay and Shift

• Pay Rate: $25.69/hour
• Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to pick and convey customer orders.
• Assemble and palletize orders using order pickers or stand-up forklifts.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) for order accuracy and stock verification.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area.
• Report equipment issues and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• At least 3 years of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience operating stand-up forklifts or order pickers.

Skills and Competencies

• Effective communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to understand basic English and measurements.
• Commitment to safety and accuracy.
• Dal-Tile certification for operating industrial trucks.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Stand, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Visual acuity for close and peripheral vision.
• Exposure to moving machinery, fumes, temperature variations, and loud noise.
