Job summary

Bruker Daltonics is seeking a Material Handler to ensure inbound freight meets quality standards and is processed accurately to maintain production schedules. You will unload, inspect, and log shipments in SAP, operate a forklift, and prepare items for shipment.

The role requires warehouse experience in a technical setting and attention to inventory integrity. Applicants should have forklift certification, familiarity with SAP, and strong data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related warehouse experience.
• Experience in fast-paced technical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate forklift and follow safety standards.
• Strong clerical/data entry to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Knowledge of SAP and export regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound orders and log receipt in SAP.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
• Operate forklift and move materials.
• Prepare orders for shipment and manage packing.
• Support cycle counting and inventory audits.
• Assist with audits and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Unload and process in-bound orders for receipt in SAP
• Inspect inbound shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
• Operate forklift, dolly/pallet jack to load and unload material
• Working knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system and Microsoft based programs, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
• Review, and pack/crate orders for shipment.
• Process orders for shipment in standard courier system software e. Fedex, UPS
• Monitor, and order shipping supplies
• Store sub-assemblies and raw materials in warehouse.
• Pick orders and material for other departments according to pick list and material requisitions.
• Process Non Conforming Material transactions, including issuing replacements, and returning material to Vendor
• Assist with daily cycle counting and inventory accuracy objectives.
• Participate in internal and external audits as necessary.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be have a current and valid forklift certification
• Experience with SAP Material Movement module is preferred
• Knowledge of Export compliance regulations preferred
• Experience and understanding of warehouse operations, and ability to apply that knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
• Excellent clerical, data entry skills to maintain integrity of inventory accuracy in database, file records and perform routine audits
• Ability to resolve issues and make recommendations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow daily standard work instructions with minimal supervision, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments
• Working knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system and Microsoft based programs, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
• Must be able to work standing, sitting and walking for the majority of a scheduled shift.
• Must be able to push cart holding up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• May be asked to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Job requires frequent bending, stooping and kneeling
• Minimum of 3-years related Warehouse experience required.
• Experience in fast pace technical manufacturing environment required

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $21.50 and $38.00/hr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
