Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Material Handler II for a night shift (Wed–Fri and every other Sat, 6:15 PM – 6:30 AM). You will move materials, build packaging, and support operations in a fast-paced warehouse.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a warehouse, know how to use a handheld scanner and a Warehouse Management System (WMS). A high school diploma or equivalent is required; overtime may be available.

Night Shift, Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday , 06:15 PM – 06:30 AM

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility


• Construct packaging boxes and pick merchandise


• Verify orders, label products, and utilize a handheld scanner


• Computer knowledge.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment


• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• 2 years of experience as a material handler


• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.


• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights


• Sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time


• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull


• Handle or manage tools or equipment


• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
