Qualifications

• Good knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, and storage areas.
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions.
• Able to complete stock description forms and labeling requirements.
• Skill in using shrink-wrap, strapping equipment, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and related tools.
• May require forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
• Move and stack printed sheets, labels, or other in-process product.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and onto trucks; secure loads.
• Move materials using hand trucks, electric dolly, and other devices.
• Record counts and weights of materials moved daily.
• Label materials and maintain accurate container information.
• Bundle materials using banding equipment and clincher.
• Operate or assist with automated equipment as needed.
