Job summary

Crane is seeking a warehouse associate to join our on-site team in Houston. You will sign off on BOLs, verify packing lists, and efficiently fulfill client orders within SOPs.

You will operate a range of warehouse equipment after training, including pallet jacks, standups, order pickers, and forklifts, ensuring safe handling of cargo. The role requires reading and following work orders, proper labeling, and adherence to safety standards while maintaining accurate daily records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of related warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sign off bill of lading (BOL) and cross check packing list.
• Fills client orders safely, efficiently, and within SOPs.
• Maintain safe, quality-focused distribution activities.
• Read and follow work orders to move materials or loads.
• Authorized equipment after training: pallet jack, rider jack, standup, order/Cherry Picker, turret, reach, and 5K+ forklift.
• Load/unload materials and secure cargo for transit.
• Scan freight via warehouse management system with RF equipment.
• Complete required paperwork promptly and maintain housekeeping.
