TAPCO is seeking a Material Handler in Brown Deer, WI to support warehousing needs on 1st or 2nd shift. The role involves moving throughout the facility, loading and unloading, and using a WMS system.

Training is provided on stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and the job emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork. Applicants should have 2+ years in a related role, a high school diploma, forklift experience, and familiarity with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and interpret English instructions.
• Operate forklift and other powered equipment.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Operate needed warehouse equipment as assigned.
• Verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Use WMS system to look up, verify data, process orders.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE.
• Pack, store, and ship products.
• Attach labels and shipping documentation to shipments.
• Unpack shipments and handle damages and shortages with supervisor.
• Stock items in proper locations and load/unload trucks.
