Job summary

STERIS is hiring a Material Handler II in El Paso to move products between storage and processing areas, load/unload materials, and prepare items for shipping. You will review customer instructions, monitor equipment, and help maintain inventory and compliance with GMP standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good reading/writing skills. Shift is 5:30am–5:30pm on a rotating schedule; a strong team player with attention to detail

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read, write and verbally communicate effectively.
• Preferred: 4+ years warehousing in FDA/ISO/GMP environment or Operator test.
• Must be clean shaven to wear proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Move product from unprocessed storage area to processing area.
• Load and unload processed product and conduct pre-shipping preparation.
• Stage product in processed area and review documents/instructions for accuracy.
• Monitor equipment used for product movement; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and assist in inventory responsibilities.
• Participate in Operator training and adhere to GMP and safety policies.
