Job summary

Marvin in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Material Handler to support production by maintaining warehouse accuracy and expediting parts requests. You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm with OT as required, and you’ll be paid $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

A focus on safety and teamwork is essential. You will read and process orders, move parts using a forklift, operate tools and scanners, and help keep inventory accurate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Computer classes or production experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort and process complete orders.
• Issue parts to the lines and operate a forklift to move parts to the line.
• Operate power hand tools, scanners, computers and related equipment.
• Assist with warehouse inventory maintenance and loading/unloading trucks.
• Notify supervisor of mechanical or material issues and ensure proper labeling.
