Job summary

Mohawk Industries in Virginia is seeking a hands-on PIT Operator to support our global flooring production. You will operate powered industrial trucks, perform pre-shift inspections, and ensure work is completed on schedule.

You will also print pull sheets, stage yarn, create color cards for each lot, and follow all SOPs while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Training will be provided as needed to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• PIT operation experience preferred or demonstrated ability to operate powered industrial trucks safely.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-shift PIT inspections and operate PIT safely.
• Print pull sheets for orders and stage yarn per finish dates.
• Create color cards for each lot/color and match to the go-by.
• Attend job-related training as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow SOPs and perform general housekeeping duties.
