Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s Vocational segment seeks a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipping of materials. You will operate material handling equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety and 6S standards across shifts.

The role requires forklift certification or ability to obtain it, 3+ years of warehouse experience or a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Collaboration with internal customers is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant warehouse experience or a high school diploma.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently locate & pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned production areas to maintain inventory levels for production; verify parts & quantities and complete BOLs to receive and/or ship material.
• Licensed and able to operate all material handling equipment (i.e. Stand-up, Sit-down, Combi, Lancer, Tugger) at assigned Operations facility.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds in a safe manner.
• Able to learn how to operate a truck and transport between areas of the property.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment per 6S standards and follow all safety procedures.
• Must have outstanding transaction discipline - accurate with quantity and changes in JDE.
• Perform Cycle Counts of Inventory and update JDE system.
• Rectify inventory discrepancies and monitor KANBAN cards; experience with ERP and JDE.
• Work cross-functionally with internal customers.
