Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics in New Jersey is seeking a warehouse associate to pull orders, load and unload materials, and verify shipment accuracy. You will sign off on bills of lading, cross-check packing lists, and operate RF scanners while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires on-site presence and adherence to Crane SOPs. Applicants should have a minimum of one year in warehousing, a high school diploma or GED, and must obtain forklift certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Greater than one year of related experience in warehousing.
• Forklift certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sign off bill of lading, cross check packing list, picking, put away, and assist with loading/unloading.
• Fills client orders safely, efficiently, and within Crane SOPs.
• Ensure distributions activities are conducted in accordance with internal quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Reads and follows work orders to determine materials or container loads to be moved.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or with warehouse equipment.
• Loads materials into vehicles and secures with strapping, bracing or padding.
• Counts, weighs, and records units moved on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials.
• Scans freight via warehouse management system with RF equipment.
• Completes required paperwork promptly.
• Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
• On-site presence at the assigned work location is required.
