Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Forklift Driver/Shipper to safely operate forklift equipment in a New York warehouse. This role focuses on accurate order fulfillment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining precise inventory records while adhering to GMP and safety procedures.

You will verify shipments, prepare orders for shipment, and ensure containers are properly labeled and stored. The position may require overtime and weekend shifts, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs or more).
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Lexington First shift

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $15.26–$22.88.
