Job summary

Bruker Daltonics is seeking a Material Handler in Santa Barbara, CA to help ensure inbound freight meets quality standards and supports production schedules. The role focuses on timely packing, accurate inventory, and smooth shipping processes.

You will pack orders, operate packing equipment, and use standard courier systems while maintaining precise records and contributing to audits. The position requires physical readiness and the ability to work in a fast-paced technical manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related warehouse experience.
• Experience in fast-paced technical manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to push cart holding up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP Material Movement module preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in boxes, pallets, and crates.
• Operate packing equipment such as Mini Pak’r and banding equipment.
• Use dolly/pallet jack to load and unload material.
• Process orders in standard courier systems (FedEx, UPS).
• Monitor and order shipping supplies; store sub-assemblies and raw materials.
• Perform cycle counting and contribute to inventory accuracy.
• Participate in internal and external audits as necessary.
• Maintain accurate data entry to ensure inventory records.
