Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Material Handler to maintain inbound freight quality and support production schedules in Goleta, CA. The role requires operating a forklift, processing inbound orders in SAP, inspecting shipments, and packing for shipment.

You will use SAP and Microsoft tools daily, perform cycle counts, and participate in audits while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification currently valid.
• Experience with SAP Material Movement module preferred.
• Knowledge of export compliance regulations preferred.
• Excellent clerical and data entry skills to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ability to resolve issues and make recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow daily standard work instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Unload and process inbound orders for receipt in SAP.
• Inspect inbound shipments for damage or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor.
• Operate forklift, dolly/pallet jack to load and unload material.
• Work with Windows OS and Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Review, and pack/crate orders for shipment.
• Process orders for shipment in courier systems (FedEx, UPS).
• Monitor, and order shipping supplies.
• Store sub-assemblies and raw materials in warehouse.
• Pick orders for other departments.
• Process Non Conforming Material transactions, including replacements.
• Assist with daily cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Participate in audits as necessary.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety/environment standards.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
