How Will You Make an Impact?:

As a Material Handler II you will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of materials and consumables at the Indianapolis packaging facility.

A Day in the Life:
  • Check materials and goods for distribution against purchase orders or invoices and maintain associated records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
  • Review orders, stock, and distribute products and materials per the daily schedule.
  • Package and prepare products and consumables for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Complete daily tasks and learn new ones with assistance from supervisors and fellow employees.
  • Great teammate who can complete tasks safely and timely and help others as needed.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills with the motivation to complete daily goals.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Lift or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, coveralls, and protective eyewear.
  • Near Vision Acuity with minimum 20/40 corrected vision and color vision.
