Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general warehouse layout and procedures to place or pull stock according to standard procedures
• Ability to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions
• Ability to complete forms for stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and labeling requirements for incoming/outgoing materials
• Proficiency with shrink-wrap, strapping, pallet jacks, hand trucks and related material handling tools
• May require forklift operation skills

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or follows instructions to determine materials to be moved
• Move, feed, unload, and stack printed sheets or other in-process product
• Load/unload materials onto pallets, trays, or shelves using hand tools
• Convey materials using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device
• Count, weigh, and record units moved daily
• Attach labels and tags to materials or mark information on containers
• Stack or bundle materials using a banding machine
• May operate/assist with forklift or related equipment
