Summary
The position of Material Handler II maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on pick lists; maintains in-process inventory in production areas by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Responsible for shipping pallets/cartons and documentation for processes. Position requires basic RF equipment knowledge and usage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties not listed may be assigned.

  1. Inspect, receive, sort, and ship component parts and equipment.
  2. Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
  3. Assist in unloading process for palletized goods and single carton deliveries.
  4. Ensure freight has been correctly shipped with all required accompanying documentation.
  5. Ensure shipment is complete prior to inspection by counting pallets/cartons and verifying against receiving documents.
  6. Report any damages immediately.
  7. Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  8. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipment meets specifications.
  9. Verify and keep records of outgoing shipments.
  10. Pull orders and verify type and quantity of ordered items.
  11. Issue and deliver items, and perform housekeeping activities in the warehouse.
  12. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
  13. Have knowledge and can execute all tasks designated to Material Handlers I.
  14. Require the use of pallet jacks and ladders.
  15. Capable of maintaining stamina for long hours of standing, stooping, bending in a warehouse environment.
  16. Flexible in scheduling; overtime may be required based on company needs.
  17. Meet or exceed daily KPI metrics.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.
