Job summary

RRD is hiring for a warehouse/materials handler in the Philadelphia area. You will lay up, feed and stack materials, ensure neat skids and accurate packing slips for tracking. The role involves tagging, banding, and using hand tools to prepare shipments for transit.

Responsibilities include operating shrink-wrap/strapping equipment, moving items with pallet jacks or a forklift, and maintaining safe, efficient warehouse practices in 1st shift. Overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per instructions.
• Complete forms for stock description, quantity, and labeling.
• Operate shrink-wrap, strapping tools, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Knowledge of warehouse layout and item codes.
• May require forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Lay up, feed or pile down materials at equipment.
• Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid.
• Complete skid flags and packing slips for tracking.
• Install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent damage in transit.
• Attach tags or labels and mark information on cases.
• Bundle materials into groups and band with a clincher.
• Operate forklift or loading assistance when needed.
