Position: Material Handler II Backup Intec Operator

Pay Range: $26.94/hr - $28.18/hr + $.60/hr upon backup result block completion + $1.50 Shift Premium

Hours: 2:00pm - 12:30am; Monday-Thursday (Overtime as production demands)

Responsibilities:

Material Handler Essential Functions/Duties:

• Operate stand-up forklifts, pallet inverters, pallet wrappers, and scissor lifts safely.
• Identify acceptable and non-acceptable quality products.
• Use SAP and RF scanners for material transfer.
• Pick and assemble outbound orders.
• Receive inbound goods and supplies.
• Manage storage and shipment temperatures appropriately.
• Move products into and out of racking systems.
• Build, prepare, and wrap pallets for shipment or storage.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Intec Operator Essential Functions/Duties:

• Identify quality products.
• Monitor VRT freezer components and ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance.
• Assist maintenance with major mechanical issues.
• Understand production schedules.
• Use SAP and Intec software for inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members for smooth operations.
• Assist with material handling during downtime.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization.

Experience:

• Experience in shipping/warehouse environment required.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Machine operator experience required.
• Experience working at heights and fall protection preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ownership of safety for oneself and others.
• Willingness to work in temperatures as low as -40°F.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 75 feet.
• Proper use of fall protection equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to understand instructions.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English based on business necessity.
