Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift and order picker experience; pallet jack experience not required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work safely and conscientiously.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operates powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to the packing station or the shipping area.
• Pulls/assembles customer orders, checks outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, performs inventory stock checks, restocks and labels vendor products, maintains displays, moves, stores and replenishes materials, and conducts daily cycle counts.
• Receives, unloads inbound material and processes inbound shipments; stocks material and handles customer returns; notifies management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• Maintains a safe working environment by following all safety rules and reporting accidents or unsafe conditions.
