Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. in Texas is seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler for 2nd shift. The role focuses on stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials, with forklift operation as a core competency.

The position requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and 1+ year warehouse experience. Shift is Monday–Friday, 4:30pm–1:00am, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match, employee discounts, and tuition

• Perform receiving duties and stocking material; restock and label vendor products.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with daily cycle counts and clean/organized workspace.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler, we need someone experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials.

Pay Rate:

• Entry Rate : $20.78
• 3 month Increase: $21.90
• Plus a shift differntial of $0.50

Shift: 2nd Shift

• Monday- Friday
• 4:30pm-1:00am

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or the shipping area.

Major Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous stand-up forklift , sit down forklift and order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.

• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks
