Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler in Sunnyvale, TX. The role involves stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials, with a focus on safe operation of forklift equipment.

Responsibilities include pulling/assembling orders, inventory checks, restocking, and maintaining a clean, organized facility. Requires a High School diploma and forklift certification; 1+ year of warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator preferred.
• 1+ years of distribution/warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience: at least 6 months; pallet jack experience varies.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to pick orders and convey to packing/shipping areas.
• Pull/assemble customer orders and check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Stock and restock materials, label vendor products, and maintain displays.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and ensure a clean, safe, organized facility.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler, we need someone experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials.

Pay Rate

• Entry Rate: $20.78
• 3 months Progression Increase: $21.90

Shift

• Monday - Friday
• 4:30PM-1:00AM

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or the shipping area.

Major Function And Scope

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience And Knowledge Required

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous stand-up forklift , sit down forklift and order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.
