We are looking to add a Material Handler II to our team on 2nd shift. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are passionate about supporting manufacturing, repair, and rework for an exciting product line of satellite communications equipment, we would like to hear from you.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
  • Contribute to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Locate and pack materials for shipping.
  • Document materials and records units delivered and location of units.
  • Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
  • Keep inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
  • Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.
  • Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor employees to become more proficient and productive in all aspects of Material Handler responsibilities.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience working as a material handler.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Adept at handling multiple tasks of moderate complexity simultaneously.
  • Proficient with prioritizing tasks and meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Process improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of inventory control.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Data entry skills and the ability to read and analyze information.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous stock or inventory experience.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
