Eaton in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Material Handler II for the 1st shift to support Low Voltage Assemblies. Core hours are 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a starting hourly rate of $20.00 and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

The role focuses on safe material movement, inventory accuracy, and productivity, while collaborating across warehouse and logistics teams. On-site work location is required with a strong emphasis on safety and process adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck).
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT for this position.
• Candidates within 50 miles of Hodges, SC will be considered; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, unload, and retrieve materials per safety policies.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment.
• Safely transport materials to/from trucks, pallets, and storage locations.
• Verify delivery accuracy and inspect materials for damage.
• Complete inventory transactions using the MRP system and perform cycle counts.
• Follow SOPs, method sheets, safety policies, and WSRA requirements.
• Use radios to coordinate with team members and prioritize tasks.
• Dispose of scrap materials (excluding metals) per procedures.
• Flex into other warehouse areas as needed to support operations.

What You'll Do

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and productivity. This role supports material handling operations for Low Voltage Assemblies and works collaboratively with team members, flexing into all areas of the warehouse and logistics department as business needs require.

• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), method sheets, safety policies, and WSRA requirements.
