Job description

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm

Potential for overtime as needed

What you will do -

As a Service Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment under minimal supervision. You will also:

  • Work with quality and production to manage the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant
  • Maintain a computerized inventory system, reconciling discrepancies as required
  • Operate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to: forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies
  • Work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceability
  • Conduct fact finding and problem solving as required
  • Assist with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed
  • Take responsibility for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area
  • Commit to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria

What you need –

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience with manufacturing or warehousing environment
  • Ability to read and write to review documentation and utilize inventory system accurately
  • Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, or stand as needed

Preferred

  • Experience with Systems Applications & Products (SAP) or with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience with order processing, analyzing/resolving customer or operations issues, and/or communicating detailed product information are a plus
