Job description

Summary:

The Material Handler II is responsible for inventory management, cycle counts, receipt of goods, and kitting customer orders. Additional duties may include processing domestic shipping orders.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Accept receipt of products and ensure materials are in good condition
  • Unpack and verify goods received against purchase orders or invoices
  • Operate our ERP system for goods receipts, production orders, and shipments
  • Maintain records related to incoming goods
  • Reject unsatisfactory items and assess claims with carriers
  • Participate in weekly cycle counts and assist with reconciliation
  • Kitting raw materials into finished goods following SOPs
  • Process customer orders via NAV ERP system
  • Verify inventory locations and availability for shipment
  • Package outbound shipments for domestic and international customers
  • Fulfill internal orders of lab supplies and reagents
  • Manage inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing
  • Coordinate with Finance on inventory issues
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of warehouse experience managing inventories and kitting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in warehouse and inventory management
  • Experience in biotech/life sciences (GMP)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Navision
  • Certification in powered industrial trucks
Salary Range:

$45,000 - $50,000, including discretionary bonuses, incentives, benefits, and paid time off.
