Job Title: Material Handler II

Location: Chester, VA

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Material Handler II responsible for accurately and safely loading and unloading materials, maintaining the flow of materials to meet company needs. This position is available on 1st and 2nd shifts in our Distribution Center's Shipping Department.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing consignment inventory, location moves, and inventory adjustments.
2. Operating handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors.
3. Ensuring inventory accuracy and notifying appropriate personnel of issues.
4. Collaborating during investigations of quality and inventory issues.
5. Transferring, transporting, and staging materials, maintaining documentation.
6. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling.
• Work environment includes temperature variations, chemicals, noise, and dust.
