About the Role:

This role involves performing various delivery, stocking, data entry, shipping, and miscellaneous office duties. You will be responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Key tasks include unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items, lifting heavy items, and possibly operating a forklift. You will also examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory with end users.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Receipt, delivery, or storing of incoming packages or goods
  • Ensuring materials are received from proper vendors and delivered to inventory or the appropriate employee
  • Reviewing receipt of all materials to ensure correct quantity and quality
  • Maintaining security and accountability of materials and goods
  • Performing data entry and maintaining documentation of department activities
  • Analyzing reports and correcting deficiencies
  • Supporting stock allocation to scientific departments
  • Processing outgoing shipments and returns, preparing records, and handling shipping charges
  • Restocking laboratory glassware
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / Associates degree and 2+ years of data entry and receiving experience preferred; biotech or laboratory experience is a plus
  • Some college courses preferred
  • Ability to perform daily operations using established skills
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Contributing to team objectives
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems (Coupa preferred)
  • Understanding of shipping processes and tracking mechanisms
  • Experience with biotech or laboratory shipping/receiving methods
  • Comfort working in a laboratory environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles

The hourly rate ranges from $22.96 to $33.28, depending on various factors. The position includes an annual bonus (target of 15%), participation in an equity-based long-term incentive program, and benefits such as a retirement plan with company match, paid vacation, holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage.
