Job description

Material Handler II
Pay Rate: $18.45/hour
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Rochester, MN
Duration: 5 months

Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and store Lab materials.
Transport pallets or boxes of HDDs to designated storage areas.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials.
Retrieve and deliver materials to test areas as needed.
Scan HDDs, boxes or pallets into SIT inventory system.
Perform kitting of hard drives for use in storage systems.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of material movements.
Provide regular reports on inventory levels and material receipts.
Assist in inventory audits as required.
This role is expected to handle up to 50 pound boxes on their own.

Basic computer skills. Familiarity or prior use of spreadsheets will be helpful
Basic arithmetic skills are needed to verify that the quantities of product are correct.
Experience using pallet jacks or hand trucks is required.
Experience using hand tools or powered screwdrivers beneficial.
