About The Role
Based at Rocket Lab’s headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Material Handler II manages all aspects of material handling, including receiving, inventory, counting, and kitting, for Electron rocket components and inventory valued in millions of dollars. Ensuring inventory accuracy and timely fulfillment is critical to our supply chain success.

What You’ll Do

1. Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis, adhering to SOPs.
2. Ensure accurate, timely delivery of components and production kits.
3. Sustain supply of Kanban materials to the shop floor.
4. Manage raw material movements and replenishments.
5. Participate in daily cycle counting and maintain stock point accuracy.
6. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
7. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with serial and lot-controlled materials.
• Experience in fast-paced, growth environments.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Additional Requirements

• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Ability to sit, operate a computer, and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to commute to the office.
• Exposure to dust, fumes, and noise.
