Jacksonville State University is seeking a Materials Handler II within Capital Planning & Facilities. The role involves moving furniture, documents, fixtures, computers, boxes, and other objects across campus, working independently or as part of a team, and supervising student workers when needed.
The position requires heavy and light physical labor, with hours 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday–Friday, and possible on-call duties.

The Materials Handler II in Capital Planning and Facilities performs a variety of tasks of a semi-skilled nature that involve both heavy and light physical labor. Acting independently or as part of a group, the Materials Handler II moves furniture, documents, fixtures, computers, boxes, and other objects from one location to another. Materials Handlers II may be the lead worker or supervisor over Materials Handlers I or student employees. Tasks will be reviewed while in progress and upon completion for compliance to instructions and policy.
